It's been a little less than 2 years since anyone has posted to this cabover thread and I've seen a lot of nice ones built on this forum since then. I figured it's time to revive this again so hopefully people will start adding theirs.

My latest, '67 K123 almost finished minus wipers, mud flaps, turn signals and front grab handles.

Nice job on this one. Can you give me a hint as to how you made the cab entry rail? I've been trying to figure out how to make this rail for a 352 I want to build. Thanks

Jim, your blue and tan Kenworth reminds me of a truck on the late Bill Bedels photostream on flickr. Love it.

Thanks Ken, that's exactly where the idea came from, the Distributor's Service Co. reefer pic. I get a lot of my ideas from his photostream.

Made a friendship with Bill on flickr before he passed away. He took great pictures from the most interesting era in trucking. Anybody building AMT truck models need to check his page out.

Sadly, I was about 6 months too late. He was an amazing photographer, the pictures he took in '65 look like they were taken with a digital camera yesterday. I really hope someone in his family will do something productive with all of his slides. They are definitely worth checking out for anyone on here who hasn't already seen them.

I think its a great idea to condense all the past great builds to they can be found much easier, and probably can be broken down by make as well for quick inspiration for a present project. Many Petes  from the late 60's and early 70's seem to have come from the factory  aluminum fronts,  steel duals  and narrow front bumpers, so that's what I did.   The Willig Ford was popular  unit for city work in western states. Cat and Budds were really the only deviation from the kit.

While COE's on America's highways have gone by the wayside, the COE models that you guys have built are just gorgeous. I've built a couple of big rigs myself in the past, however I shy away from them as I just don't have the room. Great job guys, and thanks for posting.
