Jonj238 Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 I ran across this kit on Ebay the other day. I would love one of these kits. Has anyone seen it anywhere besides Ebay? The prices on Ebay with shipping are way out of my price range, and I think a little over priced on most of the truck kits there. I would like to see more late model truck kits. I hope we see a 2010 or so Pete 386 or 387 some day soon.
Petetrucker07 Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 The 386 is available, kinda. You need a 377 kit and the 386 conversion from AITM. Here's a built 386 thread link. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=82189&page=1 Anything else will be many years from being produced.
Aaronw Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Tower has it for $65http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXACNP&P=WThey are currently offering an $8 off coupon for a $55 purchase which practically makes shipping free.http://www.towerhobbies.com/coupon_codes.htmlMegahobby has it at almost the same pricehttp://www.megahobby.com/freightlinerflctractorcab1/24italeri.aspxIf you go over $100 they will take $10 off the purchase which again is basically free shipping.I've used both of these shops extensively for years without any issues.
chitownbri Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Unfortunately that kit has been out of production for several years now, ebay is really the only place to find them. Hopefully Italeri will reissue this kit in the near future. The going rate on ebay is usually around a hundred dollars, I'd like to get another one myself but not at those prices.
Aaronw Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 ^Those are the FLC kit,not the FLD... Whoops, didn't catch the letter. Nevermind....
Goodwrench3 Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 I'd like to see a kit of the Kenworth T-800 released :-)
Petetrucker07 Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 The T800 is only in resin, probably will be forever, unfortunately. GW Trucks has a few different versions of the T800.
