unclescott58 Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 What is the phaeton being towed by the tow truck? Scott
KDmitry Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Agree, Ford custom six wheel van and Mercedes will consider as single And 71 wedge also is single.
Longbox55 Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Whatever. I don't see anything to insinuate pickups nor mention of any other thread. I deleted the post
Platerpants Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 There has never been a 3/4 dually from the factory. The 250/2500 class has always been single rw unless converted.
Longbox55 Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 There has never been a 3/4 dually from the factory. The 250/2500 class has always been single rw unless converted. That is incorrect. Chevrolet and GMC offered dual rear wheels on 3/4 ton trucks from the mid '50s to around 1971 as a factory installed option. RPO 282.
Platerpants Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 That is incorrect. Chevrolet and GMC offered dual rear wheels on 3/4 ton trucks from the mid '50s to around 1971 as a factory installed option. RPO 282. Thats odd never heard of them.
Longbox55 Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 I know of a few other non 1 ton dual wheel trucks that are factory as well. The CJ Jeeps had a factory dual wheel option as well. Very rare. Consisted of a Spicer 70 rear axle, 16" dual wheels, and a heavier rear spring setup. Their intended purpose was for Jeeps equipped with either a post hole digger or a trencher.
Chuck Most Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 I'm a Ford guy... but if Round2 reissued that Chevrolet wrecker I'd be all over it.
KDmitry Posted February 11, 2017 Posted February 11, 2017 (edited) Hi folks, I found "new" one dually Edited February 11, 2017 by KDmitry
leafsprings Posted February 11, 2017 Posted February 11, 2017 (edited) This kit has super realistic dually type wheels, but they are the uncommon 6 hand holes with 8 lugs. Would look nice if converted to 6 lugs for use on 50's to mid 60's Ford and Dodge 1 tons. 1/32 scale large truck wheels look good on a 1/25 small truck. Edited February 11, 2017 by leafsprings
KDmitry Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 (edited) Who knows what are this duallies https://auto.imgsmail.ru/content/photogallery/photos/1/0/10d3cb3e20e87ad8a5a44a0c589d6f11_orig.jpg Edited February 14, 2017 by KDmitry
kilrathy10 Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 (edited) These "Just Trucks" issues from Jada are marvelous.....Along with the old AMT Dodge Duallie......And a die cast moving van I acquired in a trade....Not sure if it qualifies, but it is a duallie.....And, of course, let's not forget the Meng F-350....(With aftermarket assistance, anyway) Not sure if that qualifies, either..... And the Monogram Ford F-350.... Edited February 14, 2017 by kilrathy10
