signmike Posted May 19, 2015 Author Posted May 19, 2015 The colour is a match I made of Bullit car colour, 1968 Highland Green. In 1968 they made black Jade which was a little darker. I use the 1968 colour to match the ad in car magazines back then... It is the car I love most in my collection. THANK YOU for the nice comments and the response I got on Facebook.

Funny you should mention all that. I painted my OOB one with Model Master Brit Green out of the bottle. Like you, I thought it was close to the art in the mag ad...but have since leaned that the Black Jade is actually quite a bit darker. Sigh. Still, it just looks so good in that color...I just might paint my HT model the same way, accurate or not....
bogger44 Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Beautiful, just the way I love them. I need to add one of these to my stable.
om617 Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Very nicely done. Looks bad*** with the dark paint and dog-dish caps.
Maindrian Pace Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Looks great. I restored a glue bomb about 25 years ago, maroon but very similar looking. -MJS
