The BMF is about 3/4 done, but I'm finished for the day. The suspension is lowered as far as it can go, the brakes have been converted to discs and the Big-n-Littles are on.

Other that the handles and cranks on the door panels, the interior is done.

I'm going to try to have this one finished in time for the NNL West next Saturday. I still need to finish the BMF on the left side, install the glass, the headlights, the taillights, the grill, a few details in the engine bay and paint the interior. It doesn't sound like much, but it always amazes me how long it really takes...

Beautiful interior Raul! Now don't go and mess it up with those oil stains in the parking lot! B)

I have to admit I like the wheels and tires you chose for this '58, even though I'm strictly a "Stock as Stone" guy! :D

oh yeah! that looks so much better than the first picture you posted. the stance, color and wheels are so in harmony. great job.

but i have to say, love the interior. custom touches yet it looks stock. that is probably the biggest reason i do not do stock/custom cars, due to the fact that i suck at interior work.

GREAT JOB. have fun at the nnl west.

Thanks, guys!! Yeah, I was hung up on how to do the interior on this one for a long time. The custom front seats from the kit suck and they look nothing like the rear seats. These are two sets of front seats from the AMT ‘94/95 ZR-1 Vette. The rear ones were actually pretty easily installed. Just a little nip-tuck and they were in.

Yeah Bill, I'll try not to get any oil stains on the interior. :P (I guess it's time for me to make a new photo base  )

Thanks for all your help on this one, guys!! I truly appreciate your comments, suggestions and support in getting this one DONE!!

Well stop yapping and get it done then. :o:huh::P:P:P

Very cool! That interior looks really sharp!

Simplifying the chrome trim on the exterior is also a nice touch; the factory stock 58s always struck me as being way over the top (but what wasn't in 58?)

The understated look really works!

Yeah, sometimes I do spend too much time here "yapping" with you guys... But, that's half the fun of the hobby for me! :P

Looking good, my man! The wheels are perfect! Interior work is still something I need more practice on too. Yours just makes it even more obvious to me. Have fun at NNL and I hope you get it done in time!

All better now! :) I'm usually pretty good at catching that. I wonder what causes it.....

Ohh yes baby! It's coming along nicely, Raul. The interior looks good. What do you mean; "have to paint the interior", isn't it finished already.....? Looks cool to me. Always neat when someone incorporates the same seats front and rear, makes for a finished appearance. And of course I like the color - it's red....! Sits right too, with those wheels..... :) Hope you get it finished....

Thanks for the compliments!

I meant the body portion of the interior (headliner, trim around the window openings...). The interior tub is done. :D
