Hi Everyone,

Well I finally finished the 69 Dart GTS 440. It was a great kit to build however I was blessed with a not so good chrome tree in the kit.

I was going to build a stock 383 car but things changed and I built it as a 440 Saturday night blvd crusier like you would see on the streets in the early 70's. Couldn't help myself. I do have one more 69 I'm going to do completely stock soon. Maybe B5 Blue and White. I'm waiting for a conversion set to do a 69 Roadrunner 440 6 BBL.

If it gets here soon that will be my next project. If not who knows. Well anyway here's some pics of the GTS. Hope you like it. As always your comments, questions and critisism are welcome.

Don

Beautiful Dart Don!

First car I owned was a '69 Dart, but it wasn't a GTS unfortunately.

Your engine looks great, and your chassis overspray is dead on accurate for Mopar..............that's how they did 'em with no dealer applied undercoat

That is the most beautiful GTS I've ever seen ! Excellent build quality, and the color you chose makes the whole car "pop" ! I think I'll just sit here and stare at it a little longer !

Thanks guys, The color is 69 Dodge Code T5 Copper Poly. MCW sells it in lacquer. Great stuff to work with. Don

Beautiful car, I love the color. My first (real) car was a 71 Plymouth Valiant Scamp, and I once used this same model (with some modifications) to build a "mini copy" of it. Wish I had taken some pictures, even though it came out horrible, mabey Ill do another, now that Im a little better at it.
