It is not on the bench yet but it is next and soon. I just wanted to tell you about it. I bought it from Dean's Hobby Stop a sealed kit. As soon as I opened the package I took the kit out and with my fingers crossed opened the kit, molded in white with beautiful chrome. I think this is as nice of a kit as I have ever had and can't wait to build it. I have had 3 or 4 unbuilt kits but none as nice as this one. I am going to build it show room stock except I am going to use the wire wheels from the 55 Chrysler which was an option. I am not sure what color to paint it but most likely 2 tone. Elvin

Great Elvin!

& I'm glad to hear you're going to keep it intact & build it stock.

Nothing makes my heart ache more than seeing one of these obsolete kits chopped into some unrecognizable custom.

Lots of great colors on the '60 Mopars! Take a look at "Russet Red". I've always liked that color.

The wire wheels are a great choice too!

I've done several early 60s mopars with Modelhaus wire wheels

I've always been a sucker for that look.

Both my '60 & '61 New Yorkers utilized the Modelhaus wires.

I painted and foiled this one in the 90's, then forgot I had it until I found it in a closet and finished it a couple of years ago. It's a nice simple kit that looks great when finished.

Another great job I may not to show mine to you and Steve, I told Steve that maybe I should mail him the kit and let him mail it back done. Elvin

This one has been a grail kit for me for a long time. I'm just not willing to pay the prices they have been going for on ebay. Looking forward to seeing your build.
