stevehansen Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 AMT 57 Chevy 1/43 came molded yellow. Filed down the hood bezels and front fender thingees. Sent the bumpers and headlights to Chrometech Bob. Stole the wheels from some die cast
peekay Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 You did a beautiful job on this - never would have guessed it was any smaller than 1.25.
AzTom Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 Very nice! I'm with the others, never would have guessed 1/43.
Monty Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 I'll have to agree with everybody else - I would've assumed this was 1/25 if you hadn't stated otherwise. Very nice work! Did you use paint or a scribing tool to bring out the door lines?

Did you use paint or a scribing tool to bring out the door lines? Scribing (exacto knife, opposite the sharp edge) and diluted latex craft paint. I spend a fair amount of time scribing the door / tunk seams deeper knowing paint will partially fill them.
RAMBENNA Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 wow that is awesome looks great. looks like it is a larger scale.
DumpyDan Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Wow great work, would not even know this was a small scale
Grumpa Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 This is pretty cool Steve! Love the wheels, and stance!
