Bumblebi Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 (edited) First Under Glass post for me then.. This is a very basic build compared to all your builds, but one I think turned out pretty good and wanted to share it I found an Airfix 1/32 VW 1200 at a hobby fair last winter, I got it for basically nothing at all, and my girlfriend love the Beetle, so I decided to build this one for her. She chose the spec for it; red body, brown interior, and white rims with chrome hubcaps. It's an almost exact replica of her "dream Beetle", you might say, as one in her family had one just like this, but sold it a few years ago. Next week I'll give it to her, hope she'll be happy for it There are a few things left, such as getting the numberplate on, and I'm not sure if I'll use the piece that's suppose to go over the rear numberplate as that was really badly shaped, but I'm calling it done! HotRodaSaurus Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 A neat little model for a simple kit . Quite a lot of these get converted to slots.

PatW Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 What a little cracker! well done Johan. Our first car after we were married was a 1965 1300 Beetle it was just great.
