Kit identification

I built this 30 years ago and is the last kit that I picked up from my parents house over the weekend. This one didn't fare as well as the others that I've picked up from there over the course of the last year or two due to not being in a case. This is probably what the rest of 'em woulda looked like without cases though.

My question is what kit is this? I cannot for the life of me remember.

I believe that's an AMT '37 Chevy.

Great find. I'd clean it up, fix anything broken as best you can. And then leave it as is. This isn't a rare kit and IMHO, it's important to save the old builds that show how far you have come as a builder.

Rob: That's what I intend to do. I just cleaned up the hood and dipped into Future and I've already got a kit spotted and will use it for the headlamps and windows. I'll be restoring it to the way it was when I finished it and nothing more.

I love the "flat tire" up front, like it was an abandoned drag racer that had the windows busted out. I wouldnt change a thing! Dust and all!!

That sir, is 30 years of sitting out in the heat of a room without air conditioning. The tires have "melted" somewhat.
