Joe Handley Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 I think the kid was just green and put on the spot, the car spun over pretty readily, and didn't sound like it wanted to fire, so ignition should have been obvious. That Olds with the boat diesel would probably have to be scrapped or hot rodded at this point.
carrucha Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 I have seen both episodes and have liked it so far. It just goes to show that car guys are the same no matter what part of the world they are from. The Cuban car guys share the same passion, frustration and joy of the antique car hobby as everyone else in the world.
Tom Geiger Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 I watched both episodes last night on On Demand and enjoyed them. I'm not going to nit pick little details. I liked the characters, and sympathized with the situation they are in and their passion to get their cars built against major odds. I did find it interesting what they have done to old US cars to keep them running, like the different power trains and how hard parts are to come by. And anyone who has kept a '54 Olds running with a diesel boat motor, so to earn an income to support his family is alright with me. Some of our whiney Americans could take a lesson from this guy!
