HI GUYS,

WAS THE BOSS NOVA WAGON SOMEWHAT RECENTLY RE-RELEASED? I THOUGHT I SAW SOME ON EBAY A FEW MONTHS BACK

The Model King issue is dated 2004. Hard to believe it was 11 years ago that they had that kit run. However many were produced though, you can still get one for around the retail price of a current kit if you pound the ground.

WHAT WOULD YOU THINK, AROUND $18-$25?

I don't remember specifics because I wasn't looking for one, but I'd bet that you could have picked one up at NNL East earlier this year in that price range. eBay is probably on the high side because you're looking at a lot of sellers who are trolling the same items over and over.

THANKS GREGG, BEST PRICE I FOUND WAS $25 +$10 SH

YEAH, I NEVER PAYED MUCH MIND TO THEM EITHER, JUST SAW ONE ON FB THAT LOOKED COOL. IS THERE ANYONE CASTING A STOCK NOVA WAGON 62-64?

Check with MCW, I believe he still has one available. I bought one a couple of years ago at a show and it was a nice clean casting. IIRC it uses the Trumpeter '63 Nova as the donor kit.

GREAT, THANKS MIKE

They also give you a choice of '62 or '63, which is nice as AMT only released it as a '63. By the way, the site says the wagon kits come with everything but an engine (and they sell the 6-banger separately) so you don't need the Trumpeter kit for it.

Good price considering builtup original kits are into the $80.00 range.

I haven't seen images of the kits, but the wheelcovers and grille are the main differences between '62 and '63, and the 100 doesn't have the side trim or the trim on the edges of the rear end.

I think the MCW '63 is a copy of the AMT kit. The MCW '62 is one they made up as AMT didn't do a wagon in '62. The 400 is a Nova level trim and the 100 is the base trim.

Is the MCW '62 Nova wagon a 2 door?

I wish they could re-issue the original 63 4door wagon kit....mine is very very rough and missing a bunch of parts...as many of you know I am a wagon nut.

YEAH, I DON'T KNOW WHY THEY RE-ISSUE KITS LIKE THE AMC PACER INSTEAD OF THIS
