email notifications - NOT

For some unknown reason I stopped getting email notifications on posts that I've replied to. Nothing has changed on my end. I know there are other forum members experiencing the same thing.

Sure could use some help.

Where are the moderators on this issue? How do we report it to the web host?

Believe me, I feel your pain.

Our problem is that some providers demand that the return address for the email be the same as the domain for the outgoing mail server. Our outgoing server belongs to our hosting company, not us. They did this in an effort to block spam. Unfortunately, it also blocks a lot of useful content. So far, my rogues gallery includes AOL, Yahoo, Hotmail, and (I think) GMail.

Unfortunately, getting this fixed isn't simple, but we're working on it.

Email notifications disappeared after the new forum came up.  I sure do miss those notifications.  I might have to manually write down the subjects I comment on to be able to keep up.
