Joe Handley Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 I have started having issues with the forum not always being able to keep up with when I go to type out a post on my Galaxy S5 and it can make typing a post more difficult and time consuming.
Petetrucker07 Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 ^^I'm having the same issue, but it's only when I try to quote. I too am using an S5. Your not alone.
Joe Handley Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Wonder if it's the new forum, our phones, or a bit of both then......
Petetrucker07 Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 I'm guessing a combination. In regular replies it works fine, only with quotes. Spell check doesn't work all the time either. Other than the quoting delay/mistyping and the spellcheck, I haven't had any issue with the new format.

Joe Handley Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 It might have more to do with the Galaxy's interaction with the site, are you using Firefox for a phone browser too Pete?

It seems to be fine now. I'm using my phone, like usual. I need to try signing in on my tablet and see how it works.
Roadrunner Posted July 26, 2015 Author Posted July 26, 2015 Is there a way to turn off a specific signature permanently? At present, I seem to have to turn off that specific signature in every thread in which that member has posted. Thanks,One solution for me, was to turn off all signatures, and I have now done this. I'm probably missing some interesting stuff now, but at least the one most obnoxious signature is no longer visible.
Chuck Most Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 (edited) Sure would be great if the URL link for remote photo hosting would work, rather than just do this... Edited July 27, 2015 by Chuck Most
Roadrunner Posted July 27, 2015 Author Posted July 27, 2015 Ah yes, the dance of death, circling doom, photo limbo. I've experienced it several times myself.
Roadrunner Posted July 27, 2015 Author Posted July 27, 2015 You can turn off each individual signature by clicking the X beside of it. Hover your mouse over it and you get the option of hiding all or just the individual's signature.Yes, I tried that, but it only seems to turn off that signature in that specific thread. When I go to a different thread and that same individual has posted, there's the signature again, so I just turned them all off.
Roadrunner Posted July 27, 2015 Author Posted July 27, 2015 Hmmm. I only have one signature on ignore and it works whether that person starts a topic or posts. I did have it on ignore on the "old" forum. So, that may be the difference.Just for the heck of it, I put your signature on ignore and it worked fine in the two different threads you had posted in. I had to go into my ignore user section to switch it back on. It was there as soon as I came back to this thread.Odd. Perhaps it's me that did something wrong then. Thanks for the input, I appreciate it.
