Cato Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 Are you able to reinstate the 'Preview Post' button when replying or creating a new thread? I only see a 'Submit Topic' button. I like to examine my content before going live to be sure pictures and text are correct. It cuts down on editing after the fact and makes managing a 30+ page WIP easier.
blunc Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 Is a "preview post" button really needed now?The posting function of the "new look" seems to me to be WYSIWYG, you just need to review what you wrote before you click the submit reply button.
Cato Posted July 18, 2015 Author Posted July 18, 2015 It's for more than text. Arrangement of pictures with text and links is much easier than discovering you have something wrong and having to go back to edit.
Tom Geiger Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 For all the other goodies, I'd give up the "Preview Post" button. It's necessary on another board where once you hit "Post" it's permanent, but you can edit your post over and over again without worries on this board.
IceMan Collections Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 I used to like that feature as well. Not a NEED to have but a NICE to have. Great if Greg gets it back on, but if not, I'm sure we'll be ok.
Dave Ambrose Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 Looks like the preview button is gone, and there's no setting to bring it back. If you mess up a post, you can just click edit at the bottom, and fix it.
