gatorincebu Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 (edited) This is an old build of DAF dump truck that has been worked hard and is now relegated to site work or pit duty. Front tires and wheels from RNK. This IH was built box stock many years ago. Will most likely need a rebuild as will the DAF. o Comments and or critisisms welcome. 72 Charger Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 Nice looking rigs Gator . When you restor the international make sure you put the hood grill on the right way . The instrutions are wrong the bars go verticly
Superpeterbilt Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 Nice work Gator. I like the DAF. I got my hands on one recently. That Paystar looks like a pretty solid build also. Re-building them is almost more fun than the first build, if you ask me.

I have a few more of the Paystar 5000's to build yet I may correct that on those builds. Be Well Gator Nice work Gator. I like the DAF. I got my hands on one recently. That rebuilding a model can be more fun than the first build. And you can correct the things you missed. Be Well Gator Nice work on both trucks Marc! Thanks Dennis! I may not get into the finite and super accurate details, but I do try to build a clean model. And have fun while doing it! Be Well Gator

Plastheniker Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Always nice to see an unusual model like the DAF. As far as I know it is OOP for a long time.
mackd Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Nice work Marc. I would have liked to see the Darf in a slide of road construction. Wow it effect it would have. I like it.

Jurgen, thanks for you comments. yes The DAF dumpt truck kit has been out of production for quite some time now. Though the Frieghtliner with the same dump body has been re released and should be available. Though it is rather pricey. I do like that dumper!good looking trucks Cliff, Thanks for your comment glad you like em. Both models will be upgraded and repaired, ( moving damage) . The DAF has tires from Rick Mark. And they are quite heavy,As aresult the front axle keeps breaking. I will replace it with a metal axle from KFS. Tjhe International Will have the dump body modified. And I will most likely weather that truck as well. Nice work Marc. I would have liked to see the Darf in a slide of road construction. Wow it effect it would have. I like it. e the DAF is redone. I hope to get some construction site type photos of it Alain, Thank for your comment. Coming from you it means more to me, As I hold your work up there among those I aspire to. Once the DAF is redone I hope to get some good construction site type photos of it. Be Well Gator
