Pavel A. Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 (edited) So, as I wrote a time again, some of my photos and album were lost by migration on new server. Let me, please, insert it again. Here is again one of my "hauler". The famous euro conventional Daf 2800 Ntt in combination with heavy duty trailer. I like this model. There are full PE part set from Czech Truck Model for Ntt on this Daf. Original is also Daf yellow colour covered by 2K Ivat clearcoat. Chassis and engine are "filled" by wires and plumbing. Necessary is covering by weathering and some dust. I decided rework front mask and grille. There are no headlights in model from box. I made it. It was fight but I won Edited July 30, 2015 by Pavel A.
gatorincebu Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 (edited) Pavel, I for one. Am glad to you re posted these photos. That is a great looking model. You did a really good job on the whole rig.I am going to have to see if the build thread is still available? Is the the Cattleman kit? The Daf 6X4 is one of my favorite European trucks. I have a couple in the stash to build. You said that there were no headlights ? I just went to my stash and pulled out both the DAF Cattleman truck and the DAF Dump truck. Neither kits has the headlight in the fenders. I like the way you added the headlights to your truck. And I may try that on one of my trucks. But most likely I will go with the lights in the bumper. And may possibly add a couple more to the bumper. Be Well Gator Edited July 30, 2015 by gatorincebu
Superpeterbilt Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 I love this build Pavel. I am very uneducated on Euro trucks, but I bought a DAF kit after watching this build. It's even better with the trailer.
slusher Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Great looking truck and trailer, fantastic weathering...
Tesla Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 It's good to see this build re-posted. Fine looking truck and trailer and unbelievable weathering!
Pavel A. Posted July 30, 2015 Author Posted July 30, 2015 Thanx guys. Yes it is Cattleman. Now I have got some free time so I can insert some photos from workbench.
kilrathy10 Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 I do remember this one.....It is a truly awesome build...The weathering is superb, and the whole model just jumps at you with detail....Awesome work, Man....
Jim B Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 I remember it, too. Great looking combination, Pavel. The weathering is very nicely done.
Plastheniker Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Pavel, again a perfect weathering as on your Bedford wrecker - but a completely different weathering due to the different uses of the 1:1 vehicles. Excellent!
Atmobil Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 I love it!! Great job you have done on this one but I could have wanted to see an excavator or something like that on the trailer as a load aswell
Danno Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 Outstanding! Exceptional detailing and weathering!
