1/16 Kenworth W900 lowered

Hello everyone, new to the forum...this is my first 1/16 model and first "big rig". I didn't want to do the 70's colors and version that was in the box, therefore  I opted for a more modern look. I sprayed the body with black primer, then black metallic then finished it with clear...paint could be better...but I haven't painted models in over 30 years...not to bad! I also lowered the suspension to give it a sleeker look. Enjoy!

Welcome to Model Cars forum. Nice job on the KW.  I find that the front end sits way to high on these trucks. lowering it sure makes it look better. The paint job looks pretty good to me. I have the same one to build one day.

Welcome to the forum. Looks great. I agree with Kenny. These kits sit way too high. Maybe someday I'll give large scale a shot. This is definitely inspiring.

That looks really sharp, great job!   Although I haven't done any recently I've been building mostly 1/16 for years. I find them easier to work on as my fingers and eyes get older!   The drawback to 1/16 is the limited subject matter but with the advent of 3D printing it looks like the aftermarket can compensate for that a bit.
