Ok guys, the shop is nearly completed and I'm getting the itch to get a kit started.

This '69 Camaro will be my first build in 20 long years.......this should be very interesting!!!!

Since I know you will like the standard grille much better than the RS version, you can send me that one. I'm much more partial to it, that's the one my girlfriend (wife now) really wanted me to get back then, it's the least I can do to actually give her one now.

What, the Revell '69 RS grille? It's not very accurate at all (and I have a REAL one hanging on my garage wall). AMT did a much better job of this back in 1969. Fortunately, it's still available in the "Funny Hugger" dragster, if you can fine one.

Wow! Dont my know if the kits have cheapened up this much in the last 20 years that I have been out of this hobby or I just got a bad one but I've been cleaning up the body on this thing all week.

Finally got some initial coats of paint on it tonight.

Or maybe your standards and/or skills are just higher today. I know it easily takes me a week of evenings in front of the TV to clean up a typical model car body and get it ready for primer.
