FORDSVTPARTS Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 (edited) This is a total parts bin special, thrown together from spare parts. Would you be nervous if you ran up against this on the street? How about now, This view gives a little more away, If you could see this it may make you nervous, The body is from the "Double Whammy" kit, The Boss 429 mill is from the Boss Mustang 2 in 1 and the rest is from the parts bin and my imagination. I'm guessing a Boss 429 with a crank driven blower in a car that looks like this may embarrass many unsuspecting shiny cars. Edited March 8, 2008 by FORDSVTPARTS
Raul_Perez Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 Very nice weathering! Yep, I'd wonder what that monsterous scoop in the grill was for, and why everything around it was getting sucked in!
Clay Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 Upon closer inspection, I spy a supercharger in there, nice job of hiding it.
FORDSVTPARTS Posted March 8, 2008 Author Posted March 8, 2008 Upon closer inspection, I spy a supercharger in there, nice job of hiding it. Thanks, Just in case anyones wondering there is a radiator mounted on the passenger side of the blower it's just hard to see.
RatRod Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 Would that be called a hybrid? Great job of using your stash, it males for an interesting piece!!!
Darrell Gwinn Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 Seriously, if that was 1:1 and it pulled up next to me at a red light i'd be laughing until the light turned green.... definate sleeper!
george 53 Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 Great sleeper,a crank driven blown injected 429 Boss, whoda thunk? great job on the weathering too!
Bainford Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Whoa! That is downright BAD. I love this build. The low profile of a front mounted blower is very neat, but fitting one to a Boss 429 and stuffing the works into a stock body Stude ... now that's cool. One of the best sleepers I've seen in a long time. Nice work on the weathering, too, and the black wheels give it just the right amount of attitude. Nice work.
mr moto Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 I don't know about sleeper! I think that one would get my attention at a stoplight! Really cool build. There's attitude dripping off of that thing!
RodBurNeR Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 awesome build! looks like the one i am inspired to build from! Hosted on Fotki

FORDSVTPARTS Posted March 12, 2008 Author Posted March 12, 2008 awesome build! looks like the one i am inspired to build from! Hosted on Fotki Thats the car that inspired this build, I thought it would be fun to make it more of a sleeper though. I'm still tempted to build another one more like that.
