disabled modeler Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Looks great Mark. Thanks Andy....it was a unexpected fun build for a warped kit......first time I attempted anything like this.
disabled modeler Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 He you go Jay....thought Id make it easier for you to find...
Tom Geiger Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 Great work Mark! I really enjoy this build style!
disabled modeler Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 Thanks Mark and Tom....it was a fun build trying to think of everything I could add to it. I still need to get better at it yet...I started a 64 Dodge 330 one awhile back but it got sidelined for the moment.
disabled modeler Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 very nice work ! great details ! Thanks Gino......I appreciate the comments very much it was my first attempt at one like this and was a fun build. Normally a badly warped kit/model just becomes extra parts..I figured this way it would not go to waste and be something...LOL..
disabled modeler Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Here you go Clayton...maybe it will help you with ideas some.
GearUpJammer Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Wow Mark, this truck is great !Reminds me of when I was a kid and we'd stumble upon an old truck or car like this in the woods.I can almost smell the musty interior and oil and grease.Fantastic job!
JUNK-MAN Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 (edited) I really like it very cool build, lots of detail I especially like the junk in the bed, I have a tire and a valve cover in the back of mine but they aren't visible in the picture I took. Edited March 4, 2016 by JUNK-MAN
disabled modeler Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Thanks Vic and Nathan...! I have a couple of others planed yet....makes good use of damaged kits or models so there not a waste.
St Louis Snacker Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 I love it. I like those tattered and battered well used models. I think they are more challenging then a straight build. I like your color choice and all the extra detailing.

plastic trucker Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 I like the rag as a gas cap. I remember doing that when someone stole my cap off of my '73 pickup.
gatorincebu Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 Mark, Don't know how I missed this awesome build ! But aside from your talent ,skill and creativity. What I like most is that you have stated many times. That for you it was a fun build! In my mind that is what the hobby is about , and what I try to do when building my models. Be Well Gator
disabled modeler Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Thanks guys... ! Building is supposed to be fun or relaxing...it helps me pass all the time and keeps me sane....I think...LOL.. The nice thing about building is you have the choice to make it what ever you want or think of. Id like to make several of these kind of builds have one that has been stalled for awhile I have to get back to sometime of a 64 Dodge 330...I still have a lot to learn yet on weathering.
Eshaver Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 I have followed Mark now for years . He has been an inspiration to me , ( Not in modeling , per say ) but the tenacity to make a dream come true . Yeah Mark , as I lay dieing in 2010, I KNEW I HAD to make a decision . Your unending attempts at resurrecting Promotional s sort of "Sparked " me to go further and do more , THANK YOU ..................................
disabled modeler Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 Thanks..! Glad to be a positive influence or of help. yes I have been through a lot and still going through things that challenge me everyday but if I just give up what good would that be...?...none. I have never been a quitter and hope never to get to that point...long as I can fight everything I will.
DumpyDan Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 Very cool build!!! Great attention to detail.Love it, well done
