Crazy Ed Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 What is the line coming out to the Intake Manifold in the last Picture? A Vacume Source for Windshield Wipers maybe.......
Al Hoffman Posted September 17, 2015 Author Posted September 17, 2015 What is the line coming out to the Intake Manifold in the last Picture? A Vacume Source for Windshield Wipers maybe.......I would say it is a vacuum line and I believe that the base wiper motor was vacuum driven so your probably right on that.
Greg Myers Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 I would say it is a vacuum line and I believe that the base wiper motor was vacuum driven so your probably right on that. Yes, how about the forced air heater ?
Crazy Ed Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 Now we know where Herr Porsche got the idea for the VW's Heating system! Talk about a simple On/Off system. In the Winter you place it on and Summer take it off.
Al Hoffman Posted September 17, 2015 Author Posted September 17, 2015 What is the line coming out to the Intake Manifold in the last Picture? A Vacume Source for Windshield Wipers maybe....... I thought you were asking about the line tapped into the intake manifold.
Crazy Ed Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 I thought you were asking about the line tapped into the intake manifold Al, I was and you covered it. The Heater statement was i reply to Greg's Post.
Danno Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Nice model. Not precisely factory stock, but close. Some artistic-license allowed. But, I'm curious: why the satin black fenders?
Al Hoffman Posted September 18, 2015 Author Posted September 18, 2015 Nice model. Not precisely factory stock, but close. Some artistic-license allowed. But, I'm curious: why the satin black fenders?More of that artistic license I'm afraid. If anything I think I should have toned down the green a little. Always visualized Model "T"s and "A"s as not overly shiny.
carrucha Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Very good job. Excellent job on the wood graining. One of the best I have seen on this forum.
