ismaelg Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Hello, I have been very busy lately and after my last build flopped, I haven't been posting or even looking at the workbench for over 2 weeks now. Not that anybody had noticed But I got this delivered today! I hate it when all I can do is take a pic of the box. I don't think I'll be able to even open it in the next few weeks. At a quick glance: Gorgeous kit! Thanks,
cruz Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Sweeeeeeeeet!!! I NV you, I will get mine some time!!!!
junkman9096 Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Come on, Dude! Open it. A little taste can't hurt, can it?
Ken Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Man Izzy, you tease!!! Crack that baby open and give us a review!! Besides, it might just be something that will bust your slump. I almost ponied up for one of these from Hobby World the other day. I decided to wait a bit. Eventually, I will have to break down and get one as I believe these to be the best looking Ferrari... Wait just a second as I put on my nomex underwear for the flames that are sure to follow that last remark...
JHDrew Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Dang, I'm still waiting for mine. Did you spring for the wheels? Did you order it from HLJ? If so, I hope mine comes soon. PS I haven't forgotten to mail that package. I've been sick for the past 3 weeks. Later
george 53 Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Iz,At thars a purty lookin car, whar d ya git it? its so purty I jes may wanna built me my first furrin car.
CAL Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 (edited) where to get one? where to get one? It's pretty much the only thing on my absolutely must have list. I'll spring for wheels, too. Hey it's my B-day in a month, and the wifey already gave her approval because it's cute - I guess. ahh another red car I hate painting red almost as much as yeller.... but they look so fine. Kribblig Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 I got my six and I have to say they are pretty nice. Gripes: Wonky fit of the side bodywork, thick windshield and no race number decal guide. Plusses: Fantastic kit wires but I ordered the etched wheels anyway etc, etc. We NEED more vintage kits like this. Hasegawa left us 1/24 vintage F1 fans hanging with the Honda RA272. I sure hope they follow this up with another winner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kurz
george 53 Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 Soooo,Whar ja getit? R ta jes keein em fer yaself? C'mon share a lil .PLEESE!
MrObsessive Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 Well I'm getting mine from Hannant's in the UK.........but I suppose they haven't made it that far west yet. It'll probably be one of the newest kits I've ever built so soon as I'd like to start on it sometime this year!
Rob Hall Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 Cool..I should be getting mine soon (got the shipping email from HLJ). Alas, it will be going straight to the storage unit after a quick lookie-see, as I'm going to be busy busy busy over the next few weeks w/ my move.
Ken Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 Try www.hwjapan.com or www.hlj.com either place will most likely still have them in stock. Of course with the drop in the dollar, a 25.00$ kit just jumped up to 30 or so bucks. All this before shipping.
Rob Hall Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 Mine came today from HLJ along with the Tamiya Merc 600SEL AMG. Sweet.
george 53 Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 Thanx guys the only ones I' seen were in the 100.00 dollar range , so 50.00 bucks sounds pretty reasonable,Sure gotta get me one,it's sharp!
CAL Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 I'm still trying to figure out what build flopped. Search me, I was wondering myself.

Of course with the drop in the dollar, a 25.00$ kit just jumped up to 30 or so bucks. All this before shipping. I got the TR and the Tamiya Merc 600SEL AMG for $70 incl. shipping from HLJ, so $35 each incl. shipping isn't bad. Of course, the exchange rate has been changing a lot lately.
