Got this the other day as well.

Revell/Germany BMW i8, incredible car.

Now we can all own a piece of automotive excellence, without the driver's attitude that you acquire when driving one.... :-)

This week i finished my i8. Revell did a great step forward! it fitted perfectly...engine, suspension, interieur or body - all without any trouble.

Most work is the paintjob with the black parts on the Body.

only some small things to look at. nothing, that couldn't be handled from all modeller...like the frames from the rear trunklid and from the doors were deformed, but easy to fix. And take a look at the wheels - the boxart models rims are mounted the wrong way, the Pictures in the instruction also - but: the partsnumber in the instruction is right. my mistake was to look at the Pictures and not on a 1:1 reference.

The BMW i8 is a very intriguing car but I have yet to see one for real. I find it as interesting as the La Ferrari but potentially more accessible. Hopefully the kit will eventually be available in white styrene and more friendly packaging
