The third in the BMW-row. As i was building the new i8 i thought, the Z3 as a son of the Z1 is a must have in his history.

The kit is a typical Tamiya, nothing happend, nothing that wont fit. Glue and color in a box, shake em...and there it is.

Looks very nice, and in a color that I have not seen on these before. Looks very understated (almost plain-jane-ish) with the wheels that Tamiya has put on this kit :)

It looks very nice in that color. One thing - btw: you didn't bring this beauty along yesterday, when you visited me :(  - I noticed. Maybe you could have taken plastic stuff for the windows at the doors. Maybe I'll buy one too, to fill another gap between Z1 - Z8 - i8 ;)

Very nice!

Very clean execution, Dominik!

Christian is right, replacing the usually very thick kit side windows by thin sheet is a simple and very effective way to improve the appearance of a convertible model.

Thanks!

Christian, Jürgen - you are right. i thought about Change the sidewindows or cut them away. The Thing was, i had a deformed windowframe (also my last two convertibles i'm working on)...i thought, i couldn't fix it without that fat parts.:( i was wrong.

Christian... on the Christmas-clubmeeting i will carry it with me - sure. so i thought, its enough i showed you on this short visit ;)
