mgruenwald Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 (edited) After reading some good things about this kit I figured it would be a good candidate for a paint experiment. Edited November 8, 2015 by mgruenwald
GMCMAN52 Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 your off to a great start. The blue just fits this ride
Sledsel Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 (edited) I was just looking at this kit tonight. Gonna have to watch this build Edited October 20, 2015 by Sledsel
Tom Geiger Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Great work so far. This kit is ideal to practice paint and such. A lot of us have built interesting versions too. I believe it was the Newburgh NY club that did a project around this kit. I have a few of the fenderless version, but I've never had the fendered car. Guess I'll need to get one.
Tom Geiger Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Nice interior, I love the interior in this kit since it's a modern rendition. Might be fun to adapt it to different bodies. And there's an automatic shifter for our '29 Ford projects! On the steering wheel, dab a little flat black in the holes to make them appear as if they are drilled through. I'd also give the shifter handle a lick of color.
mgruenwald Posted November 8, 2015 Author Posted November 8, 2015 the paint is Tamiya clear blue over hok orion silver
mgruenwald Posted November 8, 2015 Author Posted November 8, 2015 Here is the red counterpart to be finished fenderless
