Dann Tier Posted October 22, 2015 Author Posted October 22, 2015 Tina says she cant believe how many people like her Chevelle, and to tell you all, thank you so much! you all have inspired her to build more!
Foxer Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 That IS impressive. For whatever reason. my eyes got riveted to following the brake lines underneath ..
Dann Tier Posted October 22, 2015 Author Posted October 22, 2015 She says, thank you!! instead of starting off doing a box stock build, she wanted to do wiring, photo etch, carpeting, and Alclad all on her first build!! talk about trial by fire!
rickcaps55 Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 Awesome she did a great job for her first your lucky she is taking part in your hobby.! Hell if my did she would still be around.!
Dann Tier Posted October 22, 2015 Author Posted October 22, 2015 my Ex HATED models!!! ESPECIALLY when I bought the Testors Pantera GTS on ebay for 150.00
Lizard Racing Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 I don't know which is more remarkable:the engine detailing, or the fact that you got your wife to participate in your hobby.
Jeremy Jon Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Bravo to Mrs. Dann A super clean build, looks great!!
Dann Tier Posted October 24, 2015 Author Posted October 24, 2015 Tina says thank you, and that her next build will be Italeri's Bugatti Coupe Napoleon. Soon I will post pics of the second model she did, Revells 56 Ford pickup. the Bugatti will be her third build.
spencer1984 Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 This is some seriously excellent work! I've built variations of this kit a couple of times now, and have yet to do one anywhere near as clean and nice looking as what she's done here. That chassis fits better than any I've ever seen!
horsepower Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Great job, almost looks like you took photos of a real car and photo shopped them to look like a model.Really looking forward to the '56 Ford pickup, that is one of the hardest kits to get looking right unless you have one of the real early issues, they're so worn out that most of the parts don't fit like they are supposed to anymore.
Dann Tier Posted October 26, 2015 Author Posted October 26, 2015 she says, THNX!!, horsepower. she agrees with you 100% about how good that kit is! in fact, she wrote to Revell and asked them why it was so crappy!!!!!!! she asked for new rear shocks because the ones in the kit were too short, THEY SENT HER THE SAME ONES BACK!!!!!!! lol she said that this kit ALMOST made her not want to build again. I calmed her down, and introduced her to scratch building! thank you again for your kind words!
Perspect Scale Modelworks Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 Wow! Marry that woman. Oh yeah you already did. Good job to both of you.
426-Hemi Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 Just the hood pins on hangers............... and the engine WOWZA!!!!!!!
