Ha, OK - if you say so! The fin trim is looking a little scary to me.

I've done much worse foil jobs.

Probably a couple of the worst were a '59 Dodge & a '60 Plymouth Fury.

Not to mention a '58 Buick!

I think the most challenging part when I did my '61 Dodge was foiling the trim on the tail light lenses!

This one shouldn't give you too much trouble Steve.

It will really "pop" with the black.

The interior is done.

Starting with the very basic and shallow three piece interior (tub, dash and steering wheel), I decided to go for something splashy. Red to match the roof with cowhide inserts. I added arm rests, seat belts, window cranks, turn signal stalk, rear view mirror, a little BMF, and Fuzzy Fur for the carpets and the package shelf.

That's pretty wild!

Did you make the "cow hide" yourself?

I know "Scale Motorsports" makes some very cool upholstery decals in patterns like giraffe & elephant hide, as well as some stock patterns & "southwestern" blanket motifs.

Wasn't sure if they had cow hide or not.

It's the "Scale Motorsports" cowhide decal. I bought a sheet a few years back thinking I'd use it someday. After I painted the seats, I was able to use the masking tape as a template. Truth is, it wouldn't be that hard to do with paint if you have slightest artistic sense. Cowhide is a pretty forgiving pattern.

After a few unsuccessful attempts, I think I have a coat of Alclad on the rear bumper that I can live with:

Not too far to go now - I should be finishing this one up soon.

Steve, you're making me wish I had never traded mine off, this is looking great! The suede black with the foil came out great, and the red roof with the red rims should really bring it all together!
