to have some positive results near my long progresses, i like to grab a simple kit. Almost curbside, right stuff to relax.

So i will show you my Porsche 911 (Series 996), Kit is No.196 from Tamiya. Painted out of the can as always, no clearcoat, no polish. Simply out of the box. Some trouble with the paint, trouble with the black frames (no slow hand)...done is done.

here we go, enjoy:

Thank you very much for kind comments, i appreciate it.

Looks good. Is it like a circa 2000 model?

Walter, you are right. the 5th generation 911 Series "996" was built from 1997 till 2006 and it was the first water cooled 911 they built. New area for Porsches 911 - likewised it is not based on Ferry Porsches original design from 1963 (!), means for comfort the wheelbase growed about 19cm and the wideness of the car about 9.5cm. Most Porschefans (me to!) were not amused about water in "their" 911...technical necessities were the reason, they have to do it. But it is the most selled 911 till yet.
