gino Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 rescued the cab from the junk box. used an italeri freightliner for the frame and running gear
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 I really like this build! Of course I really like these old cabover KWs. I rode many a mile in one of these listening to a 8v-71 and a Merle Haggard 8-track. Nice Build!!
OlSchoolRedo Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Now that's how you build an "parts box" truck. Great execution on this one!

The Modeling Hermit Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 I just can't think of the words to describe how amazing your models are. Each one I see is better than the last; if that's possible.

Tesla Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Gino,What an amazing build! You certainly have a good handle on building COE's!
Superpeterbilt Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 I like this one a lot. It looks great on the 1/24 chassis and wheels. Ive always thought these cabs look too big for 1/25 scale. Noce job.
Brinx Posted November 9, 2015 Posted November 9, 2015 Nice save, very good example of a "glider" re-build.
grayghost Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 I'm with the rest of the guys.Your builds are nothing less than amazing.

GearUpJammer Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Sweet Kitty Whopper Gino!My first long big truck ride was in one of these from NJ to Omaha and back with a 40 ft reefer hauling swinging beef.Back in the Monfort Lane days of I-80,guess I was about 10 years old.Truck had a 350 Cummins with a Spicer 4x4 air shift.
gino Posted December 18, 2015 Author Posted December 18, 2015 thanks vic ! yea the good ole days, I used to run a lot of I80 to I75 out to Limon Colorado.
Plastheniker Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Nice colour combination and very good detailing. The bigger Italeri wheels really improve the appearance.
Petetrucker07 Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 I can't believe I missed this. This is a great build Gino. I love the combination of parts. It really came out great. Hope you can a find a mirror for the left side.
