I know you're all wondering . . . well, at least one or two of you.   Yes, I survived all three earthquakes last night.

That doesn't sound like much to you California guys, but, hey!   We don't get many earthquakes in Arizona . . . let alone three of them within two hours less than 25 miles from home!  A 3.9, a 4.0, and a 4.1.

Regardless, I survived.  (With no damage or injuries.)  :)

Actually, had an exceptional weekend before that.

  • Grandson had a bountiful Halloween.
  • No Halloween damage.
  • My Cardinals won BIG!
  • My Broncos won BIGGER!
  • My Royals won HUGE!!
  • My man Jeff Gordon WON!!!!
  • And, he now leads the NASCAR Chase!!!!  (Only 3 races to go.)
  • And, like I said, survived the Earthquake Hat Trick!

I'm gonna go buy some lottery tickets!

The earthquake was a direct consequence of me booking a room for Modelzona this weekend!

Darn, dont think I am gonna have the chance to make it out there this weekend.

The "earthquakes" couldn't have been a very big deal... no mention at all here on the local news. Usually the media makes a big deal of earthquakes. If they didn't even bother mentioning it, I'm guessing you guys out there all survived... :P

Well it's a good thing MrsG isn't attending then. She'd be sorely disappointed. She likes you. :o

It was in Arizona, so it obviously wouldn't be mentioned on your local news..it did make the national news, though...

For us here in Cali, we don't get out of bed for a 4.er. It barely gets a mention in passing on the nightly news. I've been through a few, the Landers and Big Bear quakes, which were very close to our house 10 miles or so and Northridge. The Landers and Big Bear quakes were wild. I was 10. But I still remember how much it shook everything, then the rolling afterwards. If I remember right it was a 7.3 and Big Bear was a 6.5.
