Moebius Plymouth tires on eBay

While searching for AMT whitewalls on eBay, I came across this listing:

Seems like the seller has obtained a large supply (64 sets sold so far) of tires from the Moebius '65 Plymouth kit. Could the seller have gotten them from their outside supplier, or is this a back-door deal with Moebius?

Moebius may have put out a tire set like they did with the Big Rig rims and tires.

Yes, Mobius is offering these tires as a "tire pack".

Model Roundup has them for $4.90 a set.

I bought 20 pairs. They are perfect for 1965-1975 big cars. To me, they approximate belted tires.

I never said that they were a deal.

Just pointing out the fact that they were available from other vendors as well.

Ok, I think what we have hear, is a failure to communicate.

I did not buy 20 pairs x $2.99 shipping= $59.80 ship either.

Model Car Mountain gave me a discounted ship. Maybe like $5-6 total.

Spotlight Hobbies has them for $4.95 with free shipping when included with a kit order. I don't need a new car kit at the moment; but, hey, who could pass up free shipping?
