NYNS Franky Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Wow, very impressive! Love all the attention to detail, color combo, and great pics!
Anderson_15_ Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Very nice build! I've always loved cars from this era and this one fits in perfectly! Btw, what was the colour you used to do the yellow? so far it's the most accurate I've seen
Dominik Posted November 16, 2015 Author Posted November 16, 2015 Thank you very much for comments. Pacen Anderson, the paint is from "Belton - perfect". "beige", product-ID REZ593, ArtNr 328005. i bought it in a homestorage(?)...that shop for craftsman.
carrucha Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 Good work. It's one of the nicest builds of this kit I have seen.
Jeremy Jon Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 Dominik that is a beautiful build, truly you have out done your self on this one, a real gem, Bravo!!!
Monty Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Dominik, you've done a remarkable job fixing all the flaws in this old kit, so it's no surprise that it turned out so well. Your penchant for getting the details right and your use of period-correct shades and colors have resulted in one of the nicest builds of that kit that I've ever seen.
TFchronos Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Beautiful build Dominik, your attention to detail really paid off, it looks perfect.
MajorFubar Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Hello Dominik, I have the same kit and I was wondering if you could describe a little more about the windows please. On the rear window I was thinking of cutting the glass to fit from the outside to make it fit a little more flush. Is that what you did?In order to do what I was thinking I would have to remove the two posts first and carefully remove the glass around the edges of the clear plastic until it fits then replicate the two posts removed earlier. Is that about what you did on your model? It's beautiful by the way. Thank you. Tom
