Casey Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 (edited) Buyer beware if you decide to go that route...:http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/63604-don-loomis-plug-for-a-honest-resin-caster/?do=findComment&comment=818997 I contacted Round2 a year or so ago and asked if it was possible to include the turbine engine, or if the insert(?) still existed, and I did get a reply back from John G that if it was possible to add the turbine engine back into the kit for the next reissue, they would definitely consider doing that. It's been five years since the Chevy Titan was reissued, so it wouldn't hurt for others to e-mail Round2 and let them know the demand for the turbine engine is still there: info@round2models.com Edited November 15, 2015 by Casey
maxwell48098 Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Spoke with John G today at the toy show in Warren, and he confirmed that the tooling does exist. I mentioned how about offering it as a "parts pack" like they did with the chromed Mercury sleeper. He said that may be a possibility if there any demand. Use the email address in Casey's post and let them know. I also asked about the IH S-series trucks. He stated that they might have the tools but they still haven't been able to go through everything they bought. Again,, if there is demand, they might look harder to see if they have either or both sets of tooling.

Casey Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 I emailed round 2 regarding re issuing all the Mack kits and the 1/32 gear and didn't get a response.Re-send it. John G at Round2 has always been quick to respond to all of my inquiries. Sometimes e-mail gets lost, too, so don't give up.Model King did a special run of the Mack DM-600 kit a few years ago, and now Round2 released it themselves this spring. Stevens International did a special run of the Mack Cruise Liner in 2008, and I bet we will see Round2 reissue it themselves within the next year or so. Ditto for the Autocar, Double Header trailer set, and the Ford C-900 tractor. If these kit have been reissued in the last decade or so, you can bet they are at the storage facility in China, making it easy for the kit to be produced again.I would bet on seeing all of the big truck stuff again from Round2, provided they have it and it's in good condition.
