I've been trying to edit a reply, to add more information, to a post on the questions section, and I either get a "this post can't be edited because too much time has passed" message, or when I try to add the comment in another reply below, I get "404 ERROR. We can't find the page you're looking for".

Yet there it is in full, living color.

Interesting. Last two times I've tried to post on the thread in question, I've been dumped from the site and locked out for an hour or two.

Are you using Internet Explorer?  Do you also have Google Chrome on your machine?  If so, try that.

I run Chrome exclusively on this machine. Got fed-up with IE years ago, switched to Firefox, and like Chrome better than Firefox now that I have the ad-blockers running.

EDIT: Now it's behaving. How bizarre. I think it MAY have something to do with where I put numbers and parentheses in the post. The site software may have been trying to read it as part of a code string.

I was trying to do a simple edit with font size and color and it didn't like it.
