I would suggest a light wash of The Detailer brown or very heavily-thinned brown paint (like 5:1 thinner/paint) to help bring that a bit closer to the walnut pattern Chrysler tended to use. Tom Geiger Posted December 13, 2015 Share Posted December 13, 2015 One tip can give on painting wood grain is to put a piece of tape on either end. Then as you brush the grain, paint past the end of the part and onto the tape. Then remove the tape. That gives you the pattern right up to the edge.I have a PDF of a wood graining tutorial done by Irv Arter many years ago. Anyone who PMs me their email address, I'd be happy to send it along.
