I have searched for this kit for years, and finally found one...the "Funnier Farmer"...Basically box-stock, but with a 421 Pontiac instead of the big Chevy...this kit is identical to the "Rat Packer" Chevy II except for the body...so it did take a little tweaking to get it right, and I added a lot of sheet plastic to the rear of the chassis. And Slixx decals, since my name IS Stevie....

A friend lamented that altered wheelbase...but a '63 Tempest 3-in-1 kit is priced like, astronomical...though I DID spend $175 for a 1964 Cutlass...so the rule is, if you see it, buy it..Nothing against Ebay...but those guys who "part out" a rare kit..are skunks. I would rather spend more and get a mint kit. My Cutlass was perfect. So was the "Funny Farmer" though i could have gotten them for less on Ebay...but in what condition???

I think the stock parts will interchange between the stock and the AWB Tempest kits. They both are AMT tools.

Then I need to find one or parts from one...I have the original issued factory stock one from my dads old collection and it needs parts.  I thought they might be compatible being they are both AMT molds.

Hope you don't need much. The AWB kit has the body, glass, rear bumper and tail light strip, front bumper, and the grilles but they do not have headlight detail. That is all. The rest is all Rat Packer stuff. If that is what you need, go for it but the kit is spendy even on Ebay! Parts abound there, though...no need to get the whole kit.

Thanks for the information Stephen...bummer about the headlight detailing though...still may try to find one for parts If I cant find originals for the stock 63 one.  One might be able to modify the headlights to look more like the original maybe if one has no other choice?...Id be happy to find just the parts it needs though.

True dat...the grilles DO look good in spite of the lights. A little moxie would cure that...drill em out and put better ones in...delicate but do-able!!! I saw a bunch of parted out kits on Ebay, including most of the parts for a 64 Cutlass, and several parts for the Funny Farmer. They ARE out there!!!!

Thanks for the information Stephen...its appreciated.  Only bad thing is my budget or pretty much the lack of one I just cant compete with those guys out there....I also need parts to a 64 Cutlass mines a old promo of a convertible needs..glass and glass frame unit and think the steering wheel to restore it.  I dont mind modifying parts to make them right or close enough to work ok.  After a breakin here and then a tornado many of the ones I have need work and parts and the list is huge.  Thanks.
