Old Buckaroo Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 This is a cool project, very nice transformation .
oldcarfan Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 I look forward to seeing more. I love local short track and Sportsman type cars so much more than the Nascar type! I just wish there was a website specializing in photos of local short track type cars.
MarkJ Posted December 28, 2015 Author Posted December 28, 2015 Need to change up the valve covers and change the way the alternator is mounted and of course finish adding the other parts but that's going to be about it. Don't really know what the actual engine looked like. So i'm just guessing based on info I have found.
DrKerry Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Very nice!!!!! Will be watching this one for sure!!!!
Belugawrx Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Thnx for posting on.. Mark Covers look great,.... are those the headers, as you got them,..? HNY + Cheers
horsepower Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 I'll take the powerglide transmission you hacked off the Impala engine, to bad you couldn't find one of the AMT NASCAR engines, they would have been perfect, dry sump system and all.
MarkJ Posted January 4, 2016 Author Posted January 4, 2016 Thnx for posting on.. Mark Covers look great,.... are those the headers, as you got them,..? HNY + Cheers I found them in my spare parts box. I don't know what kit they came from.

Plus I don't want to spend a bunch on aftermarket parts.
