gearhedjon Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Wow fantastic work. Looks almost factory great combination of both models
Scale-Master Posted January 14, 2016 Author Posted January 14, 2016 I’ve done some additional modifications to the body trying to lessen the prominence of the Camaro styling details. The ridge in the hood and header panel was turned into a soft peak. The side louvers are being made into small scoops. The front valence has been filled and smoothed and a center bar was added to the grille. I also changed the name to something more befitting a pony car.
exesivefire Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 (edited) Could really mess with our heads and incorporate more cuda styling cues in the front, hat center grille bar really starts leaning that way.this kind of reminds me of that car that recently wa built in 1:1, it had inspiration from many pony cars. It's name escapes me at the moment though.. Edited January 14, 2016 by exesivefire
Belugawrx Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 Great body work on this Mark. That roof looks straight as a ruler !!Cheers
Scale-Master Posted January 19, 2016 Author Posted January 19, 2016 Thanks Bruce. I’ve added the badging, new side marker lights and the side graphics. I’m going for a vinyl stripe look for the sides. That’s why there is blue around the door handles and locks
66belair Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 That color is looking great with those stripes. Bodywork is exceptional!
misterNNL Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 Very well planned and executed custom. Thanks for sharing your vision and skills with us!
Davewilly Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 Looks pretty nice. Nice color ....it different but the black stripe makes it work really well...I think anyway.
Scale-Master Posted January 22, 2016 Author Posted January 22, 2016 Thanks guys. The last of the paint is on it. (More "different"...) Next to do is the BMF window trim. I decided to put the name on the back in a similar style as a Mustang.
Kit Basher Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Dang, Mark! That looks better than a Camaro or a Mustang. Somehow it even has a little 'Cuda flavor. Looking forward to more.
mikemopar70 Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Your bodywork is really clean, this prject will look awesome.
KWT Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 This is just awesome! Amazed.. Good job all the way round.
Scale-Master Posted January 24, 2016 Author Posted January 24, 2016 Thanks guys! More progress. Glass and bumpers are installed. Screens were added in the rear side scoops and the bottom of the hood scoop is in.
Scale-Master Posted January 30, 2016 Author Posted January 30, 2016 I narrowed the Mustang dash and made new mounting tabs for it so it would fit into the Camaro interior and line up with the cowl. I lengthened the package tray ½ an inch to extend all the way to the bottom edge of the rear window.
Ryan S. Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 This is super cool, Mark. What a seamless blending of the 2 cars. Very inspired.
bill_67 Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Amazing work, all the mods seem so flawless everything flows together really well.
