Joe Handley Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 It was so busy this year that it took me a while to tree all these up and finally got the chance to do a group shot this evening, at least there was snow on the ground for it!
dartman Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 Very nice.I like the lights on the middle truck.
Joe Handley Posted December 31, 2015 Author Posted December 31, 2015 Source of the XJ please? This Truck; http://www.axialracing.com/products/ax90021With this body; http://www.prolineracing.com/bodies/1992-jeep-cherokee-clear-body/And these wheels; http://www.hpiracing.com/en/part/3711Sadly, the tires as seen there are discontinued, but have recently been replaced with ones that are around 1/2" taller.
Joe Handley Posted December 31, 2015 Author Posted December 31, 2015 Thanks guys, haven't had the chance to thrash the K5 yet, but the XJ has been worked hard over the years and with a little work, the Telluride is pretty impressive for a truck that doesn't have solid axles.
RodneyBad Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 A Telluride with a Spawn Body. Looks good. Jeep looks Pretty good. The Blazers grill could use a little black wash to add Depth.. Ya know Ya should know this by now, Don't ya? LOL.. I need to get a new Family shot of mine soon.
Joe Handley Posted January 1, 2016 Author Posted January 1, 2016 Actually, that body on the Telluride is a stock, clear body I shot myself, and with the K5, I plan on stripping the grill and detail painting the whole thing.

Dang!! That looked like a Spawn body.. I may have to get me one to play with. Just one more for the Stash..
Joe Handley Posted January 2, 2016 Author Posted January 2, 2016 These are pretty good little trucks and don't take much to make a trail rig out of either, All you need to do is put in a Titan 21t out of an E-Maxx/Revo and silly putty in the diffs.
The70judgeman Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 They all look great Joe. I really need to finish up my K5. Just a few more things to get it up and running...and, a few more accessories. @Rodney- The Blazer's grille comes with individual stickers for the insets. A real pain in the... Anyway, I guess either the stickers or stripping and detailing makes it work.
Joe Handley Posted January 2, 2016 Author Posted January 2, 2016 I'd rather detail paint than do those stickers, I feel sorry for the Chinese kid that has to put those on!
