Thanks for the kind words: Terry, Gator, Gino, Dennis, Michael, and Dan!!

I've just about got the rolling chassis finished. I focused on finishing it first, so that I could put it to the side and not handle it any more than I had to. This truck is getting heavy, and with the long frame rails it is pretty springy.

Most of the chassis plumbing is done.

Fuel sender and lines installed:

You've captured so many details on this project! Every time I look at the pictures, I find something new. The ball valve on the fuel tank? Spot on!!

Ha, "I quit"!  Good one Gator, this makes me laugh.  That darned thing looks about as real as it gets.  How does he do it?

Great stuff Brian.

Thanks Dennis!! Those valves are one of the first things that I've tried that came out right the first time.

This is quickly becoming a masterpiece. Outstanding work.

Thanks for the kind words Terry! I'm not sure that I'd call it a masterpiece though. I have been inspired by great builders such as yourself though.

Phantom 309 in the buff! Excellent build. I can't get anything done with my dialysis and all these cancer tests I'm going through

Thanks Randy! We'll be praying for you on your tests.

Thanks Michael!! Not quite as fantastic as your project.

Thanks Gator, but if you knew how many times I've looked at this truck and said; "I Quit", you would probably get a good laugh. This has been a learning experience for me, and most things have not gone right the first time.

I totally agree !

Thanks Gino!! Your builds are top notch as well!

Brian you just keep pushing the bar up higher each time you add a new post. Your detailing is fantastic.

Thanks Dan for the kind words! Your builds have been an inspiration to me.

Looking good Brian! Wont be long before she's all finished!

Thanks Sam! Truthfully, I'm ready for it to be finished.

Update, It's starting to look like a truck. Primer coat is a little rough (it's 80 degrees and humid), but sanding will fix that. All the rough spots in the body shine like Christmas tree lights now.

Wow...............you are REALLY showing us all how to think outside the box of normalcy! Like Tesla said before, every time I look at this, I see something else that makes my jaw drop. From the chassis details, to the hardwood details, to the shifting linkage, to the exhaust and intake piping, to the doors, to the hinges, to that amazing little ball valve...............................just WOW! It just goes on and on. This absolutely amazing! Keep up the great work..........it is truly inspiring!
