Goodwrench3 Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Hi all --I was wondering if anyone has any tips for paint color for the "ivory white" color of the older steering wheels ? I don't want to paint it the "bright" stark white. Most of the photos of the '70s cabovers show a more "off white" or "ivory" white color. Thanks !
Old Buckaroo Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 I really like Model Master enamel # 2709 Light Ivory , it is also a gloss finish. But then there was all of those metallic sparkle wheels that owner operators liked so well

Chuck Most Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Duplicolor Wimbledon White (Ford color) also works pretty well.
Goodwrench3 Posted January 8, 2016 Author Posted January 8, 2016 Tamiya racing white looks alright as well.BenI just noticed in the current issue of Scale Auto that they used Tamiya "racing white" on the Ford pickup and it does look like it would work well.Thanks.
redneckrigger Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 I have always used Case Power White............very nice ivory color.
