(I'm sure someone will know the answer to this), but I'm sure I read somewhere that the first pickup truck done as a model kit was the AMT '60 Chevy, as an annual. Maybe Tim knows. Smoothed the chrome trim on cab back corners....(Lorider gets full chrome) Filled the grille and got rid of the wipers,..(have some DetailMaster..DM-2003) for later Now that I look at it all up close and ,...vent windows, gotta go... Belugawrx Posted February 15, 2016 Author Share Posted February 15, 2016 Thanks Paul,..The kit is an AMT/Ertl 1999 release...except for the engine....The Pegasus wheels got a Testors Dullcoat to start,.then a couple of washes of Tamiya flat black / Future mix,..Then some Mineral spirits on a Q-Tip to remove some wash from the high spots,..Then another Dullcoat treatment,..The rims stayed a little shinier, no wash there,.. which is what I wanted.Thanks for checking in.Cheers Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Malibu/Nantucket Chevrolet Blue sorta colour 50/50 colour and 99% Alcohol Thru the A/B @ 24 psi... (really have to push that craft smart paint!!) Just keep spraying coats, then wait an hour and,... 100% cover your last coat...gotta keep an eye on this stuff ,...it's really light I went with the Black bed, cause y'know,....it's my daily driver and....it's gotta stand up to some punishment,..Likesliding in a case-O-beer Got some plans for that interior....
