oldcarfan Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 I have been thinking of maybe building a replica of one of these original cars.http://blog.hemmings.com/index.php/2016/01/05/new-documentary-needs-your-help-to-tell-the-story-of-the-1979-cannonball-run/
Ace-Garageguy Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Does anyone make a Jensen Interceptor? In 1/24, I believe there's a die-cast Interceptor from Automodello for about $300. There are also die-casts in 1/43 and 1/18, but no styrene kits so far as I know.
ChrisBcritter Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 (edited) Too bad there isn't any model of a '71 Sedan deVille ("How to spend $2000 preparing a car [that gets whipped by a box stock Cadillac]"). Edited January 10, 2016 by ChrisBcritter
oldcarfan Posted January 10, 2016 Author Posted January 10, 2016 I was thinking how it would be cool to a Chevy Dually with the yuuuuge gas tank in the bed! I used to do fantasy Cannonball type cars as a kid. I really loved my 1980 MPC Trans Am with the driving lights on the front and the gas tank in place of the back seat. It's now been re-released. I need to recreate that one of these days!
