Well unfortunately I'm in between homes at the moment, so staying at a mates and using his coffee table......lol

Guess it was the wrong time to start model building again, though its the only thing keeping me sane at the moment.

A Humbrol work station (nice product) on a wobbly tray table.

Upon finishing getting my bedroom completely de-screwed up, I intend to have a small desk to build on. I'm going to see if I can work in a spray booth, too. I have the squirrel cage, just need to build the box and rig up the exhaust.

There is a small chance I might be able to re-escape my parents' house again. If that's so, I have some real possibilities.

Used to be the basement in the old place, working on a lap board.  Graduated to a desk on the ground floor.  Now I've got the spare bedroom at the new place with all of my shelves.  :)

I usually build at a rolltop desk down in my basement.  My built and unbuilt models are down there.  It gets kind of chilly down there in the winter, so I turn on an electric heater, but will sometimes build at my dining room table upstairs where it's warmer.

Since my wife and I are empty nesters in a 3 bedroom home space is not a huge problem. (Although no matter how much you have, you could always use more, right?)

So one of the extra bedrooms has been turned into a model room/office. I built a long work surface against one wall that serves as my model work bench and my work-from-home space. And the other end is my wife's "office" for her rental home business. Then there is a central peninsula that holds the shared printer and my photo scanner and some other computer "stuff".

My airbrush station is out in the garage.

Marcia let me put up a 20 x 40 steel building several years ago.  I took 10 x 20 of the building and framed, insulated, power, drywalled, painted, light, water, heat, air, vinyl flooring, for my hobby area.  I also do stained glass so there's plenty of workbench space.
