Miatatom Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 I've heard of using a pencil eraser and almost dry paint and blotting the letters. Does anyone have any other techniques they use to paint letters and insignia on tire sidewalls?
Ace-Garageguy Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 (edited) 3 methods. Gel pen, typewriter correction ribbon or tape (if you can find it), or tiny paint brush under magnification, acrylic paint that will self level and actually dry. Edited January 28, 2016 by Ace-Garageguy
Deathgoblin Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Gel pens work really well for this. White acrylic paint would be my other suggestion.
BigTallDad Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 If you go the paint & brush route, make sure you use acrylic paint. An oil-based paint will never dry.
