MrBuick Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 Love it! I'm negotiating with a guy on purchasing a GS with a Stage 1 package of my own (a real one). One of the finest muscle cars ever IMO.

One of the finest muscle cars ever IMO.My favorite is the '69, I will have another one some day. The orange one above has had a ton of work done the last year or so. It's not perfect but it's a great driver.
MrBuick Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 They're certainly great cars (as you can tell by my username, I'm partial to [old] Buicks). Also, you did a great job replicating the real thing.

bogger44 Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Good looking build. I love these too, along with the Cutlass, my favorite GM's of the era. A few years back there was '71 Skylark for sale around here very similarly built, and shape wise, like your friends car but in a burgundy color. Had a built 455. Wish I would have pursued it.......
disabled modeler Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Years ago we owned a 66 GS HT....man did it run. I like making replicas of the family/friends cars too...great for the memories.
DumpyDan Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 That's a very convincing replica. Nice work!Well done!
Sixties Sam Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Great replica - very well done! Great match on the color.Sam
