Russell C Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 From this BringATrailer post on a current ebay listing: those who'd want to build a big rust diorama could tell the mystery tale of a wayward driver who wandered off into the woods, abandoning a set of Chevy's destined for some small town dealership.......
unclescott58 Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 Went to the link. Interesting, but at the same time sad.
Eshaver Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 If I weren't committed to doing two dioramas for an invitational show for November , I'd be sorely tempted to undertake this .................
vintagercr Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 This is very cool, would be a great dioramai agree
THarrison351 Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 I used to live right up the road from Wilson, NC. There was a dirt track at the fairgrounds and we would get real barbecue from Parker's. Seems a shame those Chevys have gone to rot like that. I'm sure someone kept telling prospective buyers they were not for sale because they were going to be restored one day.
Atmobil Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Wow, that would be a nice gift to someone. If I had the money to buy and transport it I would buy it as a gift and place in the yard of a special person
Petetrucker07 Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 I would love to restore the entire unit. I've always wanted a cabover 50 Chevy. I'm partial to 56 Chevys too. That would be my ultimate setup right there.
DrKerry Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 (edited) That is kool.... but sad at the same timeDoesn't look like they sold either... Edited April 4, 2016 by DrKerry
