Finished this one up yesterday, and boy am I glad to have it off the bench.  Some bent/warped parts (mainly involving the cage structure and frame) and lots of cleanup needed, then on top of that there is the fitment of parts, most of which is fairly sloppy and vague. I kind of expected that going into this build, by reading other people's building experiences with this kit.  As others have noted, if you plan on building this I would strongly suggest using some decal film or clearcoating the decals before applying them as they are brittle.  Speaking of decals, the 429 scripts on the hood came from the Model King re-pop of this kit. I had to fiddle around with both suspensions some to get the tires lined up in the wheelwells.  In the mock-up stage I thought I had it dialed in but once it was all painted and assembled, I couldn't get the chassis to sit forward enough....come to find out the leading edge of the roll cage by the dashboard was butting up against the lower windshield, causing the whole chassis unit to be pushed back a bit.  Like I said I just adjusted the suspension some to line the tires up again.  But, if I were to do it again I'd try filing the leading edge of the bars down some, or mounting the whole cage unit back about an 1/8 inch or so.  With all that being said, I am really pleased with how it turned out, much better than what I was expecting.  If I didn't like the Cyclone, and this era of Nascar, so much, it probably would have been put back in the box for another day (or year more likely Lol).  Paint is Duplicolor Arctic White and Tamiya TS-39 Mica Red.  Thanks for looking and any comments or questions.

Super job. Makes me want to go get one of these kits. I know the chassis is the MPC one size fits all NASCAR series but it's a great looking car.

Thanks guys.  Even with the issues this kit has, I'm glad that it has been reissued.  Now, if only someone would tool up an all new factory stock 70-71 Cyclone......
