I'm looking forward to doing something with it. We went back today for some stocking stuffers and I almost got this one. I assume its the old Revell kit? Nope its actually an old AMT (truly a MPC kit. The original edition was in 1964 with the tudor sedan, the body was emedietly replaced with the woody and truck in the next release. Its not a bad kit, but just be warned, the frame is one with the fenders, but thats not a big set back at all. I was at my LHS recently and they had this kit for $40 (I dont buy kits from them because there so darn expensive). Heres a rebuilder I scored of the original issue of this kit with the sedan body (I dont think the Halibrand wheels are in it anymore though). 2
Mark Posted yesterday at 07:29 PM Posted yesterday at 07:29 PM The Model A is a good kit, in spite of the fenders/frame being one unit. I saw a couple of those Friday and left without one, but went back and snagged one today. The sedan body still drops right on, as does resin copies and derivatives. Besides having a couple of sedan kit bodies, I remembered buying a Jimmy Flintstone sedan delivery body that is based on the sedan. The delivery has shorter doors besides the more obvious differences. Sure enough, it too fits right on the woody fender/frame.
ewetwo Posted yesterday at 08:28 PM Posted yesterday at 08:28 PM My Ollies had a bunch of kits in again. Or they were removed from the isle shelves they were originally in. To an end cap. Might explain why they all disappeared before. All Monograms at this point. No Bronco.
slusher Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Mine has not had much I would like the Monogram Camaro but they only have a few Trans Ams a few t/32 trainers no broncos"…
